eCR Consent Authorization Codes encode the kinds of authorization granted by a patient consent (e.g. right to process restricted data).
Code | Display Name | Granted Permissions |
---|---|---|
USE | ‘Initialization and Use’ | The consent allows for the initialization and use of an eCR for a specific purpose. |
CAREPRV | ‘Care Team Setup’ | The consent defines the group of healthcare professionals that are authorized to access an eCR. |
SENSITIVE | ‘Very Sensitive Data’ | The eCR MAY contain data with a confidentiality of ‘VR’. The patient has been educated on the risks of using eCRs for very sensitive data. With a consent the patient agreed that such data MAY be shared through the eCR. If such a consent is not given, the eCR Box will reject the registration of medical data with a confidentiality of ‘VR’. |
DIAGEXT | ‘Diagnosis Extension’ | The patient has agreed that the eCR case manager MAY extend or change the diagnosis that is assigned to the eCR. If this per-mission is not granted, each change or extension of the initial diagnosis requires a new consent to be signed by the patient. |
ENCLINK | ‘Encounter Linkage’ | The patient has agreed that encounters that contribute to the purpose of the eCR MAY be linked with the eCR solely based on the respective treatment contract. If this permission is not granted, the patient MUST sign a dedicated consent for each encounter that is linked with the eCR. |
PARTMGMT | ‘Participant Management’ | The patient has agreed that the eCR case manager MAY manage the participants of the eCR according to the care plan and the medical needs. If this permission is not granted, the patient MUST sign a new consent whenever the group of participating health-care providers changes. |
