eCR Participant Function Codes encode the role of a healthcare provider within the context of an eCR (e.g. case manager). A healthcare professional may be assigned to multiple roles.
Code | displayName | Description |
---|---|---|
PRVDR | Provider | The eCR Provider operates the eCR Registry Services and as such takes responsibility for the maintenance of all metadata and the completeness and availability of audit trails. |
ADMIN | Administrator | The Administrator is responsible for the technical admini-stration of the eCR Box and the connected Plugs. Admin-istrators MUST NOT be granted permission to access medical data of an eCR. |
EDITOR | Editor | Members of the care team who are involved in the patient’s medical treatment and who are granted permis-sions to access and provide data and to align the scope and team setup to changing conditions and needs. |
OPCMGR | Operative Case Manager | Operative Case Managers are part of the care team and act as a primary contact for all other participants. The Operative Case Manager supports the other participants in a proper mapping of a care plan onto a case record and consolidates the content of a case record if necessary. |
LGCMGR | Legal Case Manager | Each case record is operated under the legal responsibility of the Legal Case Manager. This person signed the common agreements of use (e.g. allowed diagnoses and contents) which holds for each eCR instance. The Legal Case Manager supervises and controls the use of case records within the care network (e.g. for ensuring that only agreed diagnoses and procedures are supported). |
PRIVOFCR | Patient Privacy Officer | By default the Legal Case Manager acts as the patients’ primary contact in all questions about data privacy and patient rights. The Legal Case Manager MAY delegate this role to another person who acts under his supervision. |
