Alternativ zu dem Datentyp CE wird neuerdings der Datentyp CNE verwendet, der sich von CE nur dadurch unterscheidet, dass er keine Ausnahmen mehr zulässt. Hier ist dann auf jeden Fall der Code aus dem entsprechenden Katalog anzugeben. |

The CNE data type is replacing the old data type CE. The difference to CE is that this does not allow for exceptions any more. Here the appropriate code from the corresponding code system must be used. |

CNE.7: Coding System Version ID

Für die Angabe der Versions-ID sind lt. Standard zwei Fälle zu unterscheiden:
a) Es handelt sich um eine durch HL7 definierte Tabelle: Dann kann die Versionsangabe weggelassen werden. In diesem Fall wird die Versionsnummer aus dem Nachrichtenkopf als Wert angenommen. b) Es handelt sich um eine sonstige Tabelle: Dann ist die Angabe der Version Pflicht. Derzeit gibt es keine sonstige Tabelle, die Versionsangaben erfordert. Tabellen wie bspw. der ICD-Katalog hat eine Kennung, die die Version bereits beinhaltet: "ICD 10 2013" |

The version ID for a coding system must deal with two cases:
a) It is a HL7-defined table. Then the version identification can be left empty. In this case the version number from the message header is taken. b) It is a user-defined table: Then the version ID is required. Currently no other table exists which requires a version ID. Tables like the ICD catalog do have an identification which contains the version already: "ICD 10 2013" |
